CAT VACCINATIONS
Vaccinations are a very important part of your cat's health care. After receiving a series of vaccines as a kitten, your cat should receive annual vaccination boosters. Keeping your cat's vaccinations current will provide the best protection against deadly disease.

The following is a brief description of the diseases we recommend vaccinating against:

Rhinotracheitis .........A viral disease of the eyes, nose and throat.
Calicivirus ...............A viral infection of the eyes, nose and throat.
Panleukopenia .........A viral disease of the blood and intestines (distemper) (often fatal).
Pneumonitis .......... A bacterial infection of the eyes, nose and throat (Chlamydia) (often resulting in blindness).
Feline Leukemia (FELV).............A viral disease causing immunodeficiency and cancer (fatal).
Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) ... A viral disease causing inflammatory changes of the abdomen chest and brain (fatal).
Rabies.....................a viral disease, fatal to man and animals.

All cats should be tested annually for intestinal parasites. All kittens and new cats entering your household should be tested for FELV and FIV. Both of these viruses are incurable and deadly.
